HABITASAMPA – BARRA FUNDA

Public tender for 240 housing units in the central district of São Paulo, Barra Funda. The project presented, in addition to privileging the collective, public and leisure areas, responds to the request to design a training center for construction and restoration (CCR). It also proposes a linear area under pilings for uses such as commerce, parties, gatherings and etc. The starting point defines the units, modules and submodules that are anchored to the proposed linear circulation system. Sometimes buildings are leaked by not occupying one or more modules, thus creating gardens and elevated courtyards. Volumetry also assumes the differences of the swing modules that results in a busy volume game. The program defined in the announcement was precisely met.
